Grand Sweden Cruise

Along the Swedish Göta Canal

The Grand Sweden Cruise is our six-day premium cruise on the Göta Canal. You will travel on board our youngest ship M/S Diana between Gothenburg and Stockholm and you choose which direction that suits you the best. During the canal cruise we make nine stops for guided excursions and sightseeing. As always breakfast, lunch and dinner is included in the price.

A cruise on the Göta Canal is a perfect chance to explore the nature, regardless of what time of the season you choose to go. Rolling fields and delicate birch groves surroundthe waterway where our canal boat glides through a shifting landscape. This cruise is very popular among international guests who want to explore the beautiful landscape of Sweden.

See the whole Göta Canal during six days

Enjoy a relaxing cruise in the same way they did back in the 19th century. On the Grand Sweden Cruise the boat docks every night to give you more time to enjoy the route during the day. During our stops you will be given the opportunity to join guided tours to attractions such as Läckö Castle, Vadstena Castle and Birka, the Viking City.

All this is included

The picturesque locks of Göta Canal

On the Grand Sweden Cruise we pass many great lock systems with a total of no less than 66 unique locks. In Forsvik you will experience the canal's oldest lock and in Borensberg we will pass a hand operated lock. We will take you through the famous lock system at Berg with a total of 15 locks, including the Carl-Johan lock staircase with its seven connected locks  -  the longest lock staircase on the canal.
